ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Special needs children don't often get to play as freely as other young people because of their condition.

Saturday that seemed to be no obstacle for those children who attended a special play date.

The Butterflies Kisses Organization planned the event for about 40-special needs children.

Traci Henry's son Chance suffers from Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. She raises money to host the play dates.

"He can't go out in the heat too often and he doesn't have many play dates and I wanted to do something about that. You'll find talking to other parents that it's hard to get them out in places with children without disabilities," said Traci Henry, Organizer.

The group hosts the play dates once a month, to you can contact Traci Henry at (229) 669-0084 or tracihenry@bellsouth.net.
