ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The good news for South Georgia athletes continued on Thursday for a former Monroe High star. Ricardo Lockette received an invitation this week to attend the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine next month. Lockette has been a gem at Fort Valley State as a receiver and return man.
He'll be one of over 300 athletes in Indianapolis and didn't have the most flashy numbers in college, just 262 yards on 20 receptions in 2010 to go along with 1td. His speed may win him a spot on an NFL roster.
