THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –Thomas County deputies say a routine investigation into a teenager's stolen cell phone revealed a more serious crime.

Authorities say 19-year-old Frank Coston was going to buy marijuana from a minor, decided he didn't want to pay for it, pulled out a gun, and threatened the teen.

Coston faces numerous charges including armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and firearm use by a convicted felon in the commission of a crime.

Both he and the juvenile are charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
