ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Panthers are looking to fill out their roster before training camp opens in five weeks.
The Panthers will hold their final open tryout Saturday morning at the Albany Civic Center.
Registration starts at ten and there is a 50 dollar tryout fee.
Head coach coach Lucious Davis is returning 16 players from last year's division championship team.
The coach says he has openings at several positions and wants to sign local players from an area that is loaded with football talent.
Lucious Davis said. "I'm trying to get all of those guys. Names that the people here and the people know them. I am just trying to get him her and keep them home."
The Panthers open the season on March 19th.
