ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State Golden Rams dropped to 5-9 overall and 5-5 in the SIAC after losing to Lane College 75-60 at HPER Gym on Tuesday. Oscar Morris led the way for the Rams with 21 points in a losing effort. The Dragons' defense forced ASU to shoot 31% from the field to go along with just 29 points in the 2nd half. The Rams will be back in action at home Thursday against Kentucky State, a 7:30pm tip off.
The Lady Rams took care of business handing the Lady Dragons a 67-63 defeat. Callie Hamilton recorded a double double with 13pts and 15rebs. Rosetta Daniels pitched in with 12pts. ASU is now 10-6 overall and lead the SIAC at 9-1. The Lady Rams will also host Kentucky State on Thursday, tip off will be a 5:30pm.
