ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Child death investigators say there is no evidence of foul play so far in the death of a four month old boy Sunday, but they are waiting on findings from an autopsy to be performed Wednesday.

Investigators say it appears that 4 month old Quantavious Donnell died when one of two adults sleeping in a bed with him rolled over on him.

The boy's father, 24 year old Quantavious Mathis, was caring for the child at his South Albany apartment while his mother was out of town.

Dougherty County Child Death Investigations Greg Blackmon said "Apparently the child was asleep between two individuals, being the dad and the cousin of the child. Not sure if they rolled over the child. We'll actually determine that during the autopsy."

Blackmon said no charges have been filed while the child death investigation continues.
