ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Southwestern State basketball teams swept UNC Pembroke at home on Sunday. The Canes improved to 11-3 with a comfortable 61-39 win. Phillip Brown impressed with 9 pts and 10rebs. The Canes are now 4-1 in the PBC, they'll play North Georgia at the Storm Dome on Tuesday.
The Lady Canes needed overtime to settle things with the Lady Braves, 71-68 was the final. Jessica Bivins led the way with 22 points. The Lady Canes are now 8-6, 2-3 in the PBC. They will also face off against North Georgia at home on Tuesday.
