ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Both Albany State basketball teams earned wins over visiting Paine College in conference play at the HPER Gym on Saturday. The Golden Rams edged the Lions 64-63. Demarcus Blount led the way with a double, 19pts and 12rebs. The Rams improved to 5-8 overall, 5-4 in the conference. They'll play Lane College at home on Tuesday.
The Lady Rams made things look a little easier with a 79-59 victory. Callie Hamilton finished with 16pts and 11rebs. ASU is now 9-6 overall and 8-1 in the conference. They too will play Lane College at home on Tuesday.
Game times for Tuesday's games are 5:30pm for the women and 7:30pm for the men.
