
Albany, GA 0- (WALB) -Albany's Nancy Lopez has had many great memories during her Hall of Fame golf career.
Fans can relive those memories in a special display of Lopez's career at the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Nancy Lopez will officially open the exhibit Saturday in St. Augustine, Florida.
She is the first woman to have a special display at the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Nancy Lopez joins Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Bob Hope to have their own featured exhibits at the World Golf Hall of Fame.
The World Golf Hall of Fame says the Nancy Lopez exhibit not only focuses on her accomplishments off the course but her charm and personality that made her popular with millions of fans.
Lopez is excited about sharing this honor with everyone this weekend.
Nancy Lopez said. "I myself don't know all the history of golf. To be able to go there and look at it. It is a great experience. To be a part of that. I am very excited. My girls are coming. A lot of friends of mine are coming. So, there will be a lot of support there."
Nancy Lopez will officially open her exhibit at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the World Golf Hall of Fame in Jacksonville, Florida.
