ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Stars of movies, music, and sports are in Albany this weekend for the 25th anniversary Quail Unlimited Celebrity Hunt.

30 celebrity hunters and guests who pay to hunt with them will spread out to 16 properties across South Georgia through Saturday to enjoy some of the best quail hunting in the world.

Quail Unlimited is moving their national headquarters to Albany, with South Georgians running the conservation efforts.

"This one's special," said Quail Unlimited President Bill Bowles. "As we have known now for several months, the national headquarters and the office of Quail Unlimited is coming to Albany Georgia."

Tonight, more than 500 people are expected at the Landowners Dinner at Darton College. After tomorrow's hunt there is the live auction Friday night, and then Saturday night the Covey Finale.

This is Quail Unlimited's biggest fund raiser. The money is used to manage and preserve habitat for game birds.
