Oprah trip winner returns from Australia

By Karen Cohilas - bio | email

ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Albany woman is back home after the vacation of a lifetime... an all-expense paid trip to Australia with Oprah Winfrey.

Librarian Pauline Abidde was in the Oprah Winfrey Show audience when Oprah announced she was taking the whole group to Australia.

The trip was December 4th through 15th.   She says the highlight of her trip was holding a Koala bear, but every day was filled with fun and adventure.

She said, "I just feel so honored and blessed and grateful for having been a part of this remarkable, unbelievable experience."

You can see how the trip went for Abidde and the rest of the audience by watching the Oprah Winfrey Show on WALB.

The Australia shows are expected to air in mid-January.
