ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Emergency workers and police responded to 607 Bison Lane, where a man was stabbed. This location is off Lockett Station Road in Northwest Dougherty County.
Albany police officers have issued a lookout for a slim black man, with short hair, about 18 or 19. He was wearing a hoodie, and carrying a pocket knife.
The male victim told police that he was working on his car when the suspect walked up and asked for a cigarette. He then stabbed the victim in the lower abdomen.
The injured man has been transported to a hospital.
