ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police are trying to figure out if two carjackings one block and two days apart are related. They sure seem to be.
About 12:15 Tuesday morning, three men approached a young man and woman in a car in the 800 block of Lippitt Drive. One of the men had a gun. They stole the couple's 2007 Ford 500.
The same thing happened late Sunday night in the 900 block of Lippitt when three men stole a 2002 Chevrolet Impala and a cell phone from a 30-year old woman as she parked her car.
