15 year old Albany boy charged in pharmacy burglary

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Albany Police charged a 15 year old boy with the burglary of an East Albany drug store early Wednesday morning.

The teen admitted breaking out this window at the CVS Pharmacy on Radium Springs Road just after 2 AM.

Once inside, police say he stole 21 cartons of cigarettes. Officers picked him up a short time later. Workers repaired the broken window quickly, and the store opened for business as normal.
