ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It's not often that you get a phone call that changes your life but don't tell that to Lee County standout Sanford Seay. The stud at wide out got a call from Athens on Sunday asking, how'd he'd like to be a Georgia Bulldog.
Seay was the Trojan's leader in almost all receiving categories and says he expects to officially accept the offer later on this week after meeting with Bulldog coaches on Wednesday.
He also says that Sunday was a day he won't soon forget.
Seay said "Its a blessing, I thank God. I've always wanted to play for Georgia but I said whatever happens I just want to play football. So getting an offer from Georgia is a dream come true."
Seay also had discussions with several other schools including Marshall, Louisiana Tech and FAMU just to name a few.
