VALDOSTA,  GA (WALB) – Valdosta's first baby of the new year was born at 3:25 Saturday afternoon at South Georgia Medical Center.  Brayden Alexander Roy was born a healthy 7 pounds 2 ounces.

His mother Whitney Webb had a due date of January 2nd but Brayden was determined to be a new years baby.

His grandmother, Mimi Webb is a former producer at WALB.
