ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A Dougherty County grand jury indicts a suspected gang leader for his involvement in a downtown brawl in April.

Albany Police officers had to break up multiple fights on North Front Street when the teens clashed after a concert in Turtle Park. The 911 center's cameras caught the fight.

Five juveniles were taken into custody and they've appeared before a juvenile court judge. Today the grand jury indicted Kharan Hines, who prosecutors say is the leader of the bloods gang, for street gang participation, and aggravated assault.

Several teens were injured in the incident.
