ALBANY, GA (WALB) -The Georgia Tech football team fell to Air Force 14-7 in the Independence Bowl Monday. The Jackets suffered 4 turnovers in a loss that left Tech with a 6-7 record for the 2010 season.
Georgia Tech's 327 yards rushing per game this season edged Air Force's 317.9 average for the nation's top spot. Both teams used a heavy dose of option but it was a costly interception by Tevin Washington late in the game that sealed the Jackets' fate.
