ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Two music acts from our area will perform in Atlanta as part of the inaugural events for Governor elect Nathan Deal.

Lee County's Luke Bryan will headline the celebration at Phillips Arena January 10th. Earlier this year, Bryan was named best new artist by the Academy of Country Music. Governor Elect Deal's camp called Bryan a rising star in country music and said he's making Georgia proud.

The Kinchafoonee Cowboys, with roots in the Albany area, will also participate in the Day of Service Concert at the Buckhead Theater in Atlanta.

Luke Bryan will perform Thursday night here in Albany at Crowbar.
