THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –  A preliminary autopsy on a severely decomposed body found in Thomas County more than a week ago shows the man most likely died from natural causes.

The autopsy report showed no signs of trauma to the unidentified man in his 50s.

Investigators have not completely ruled out foul play until their investigation is complete.

They're now comparing dental records to confirm the identity with an ID found near the body in a wooded area off Highway 84.
