ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany man is recovering from a vicious attack with a baseball bat.

He was beaten by three people during a home invasion robbery inside his Pinson Road Apartment.

They hit 24-year old Jarious Jernigan in the head with a bat.  He was treated at a hospital and released.

Investigators say a woman knocked on Jernigan's apartment door at 500 Pinson Road a little after 10:00 Thursday night.

Two men then forced their way inside.

When Jernigan tried to leave, they attacked and robbed him.

If you have any information about the two men and one woman involved in this home invasion robbery call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
