Camilla pharmacist ordered to pay 2.8 million for Medicare Fraud

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  A Camilla pharmacist is ordered to repay 2.8-million dollars in Medicaid money as part of his sentence for fraud.

J. Harris Morgan, Junior was also sentenced to two and a half years in prison. He was convicted of submitting 2.8-million dollars worth of fraudulent Medicaid claims through Thrift Center Pharmacy and Option Care in Camilla.

The claims were for a drug called Synagis used to treat children with respiratory problems.
