ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Two Camilla men are charged with stealing copper wire from more than a half dozen irrigation pivots in Mitchell County.

Investigators caught 36-year old Timothy Thomas and 51-year old Jimmy Redden, Junior burning wire earlier this week and charged them today. They say the two stole copper wire from five pivots in the Hawthorn Trail Farms area off Wiregrass and Evergreen Roads.

Investigators believe the two may also be responsible for thefts on Pelham Road. They're still investigating to see if anyone else was involved.
