ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Lane A. Rosen from Albany, Georgia, has emerged as the best qualified candidate for the Albany Civic Center Director position, Albany City Manager Alfred Lott announced Wednesday.
Mr. Rosen currently serves as owner/managing partner of the State Theatre on Pine Avenue in Albany. This is the position he has held since January 2004.
He is also in the rental property management business in Albany. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. The City is providing public notice of Mr. Lott's decision on the best qualified candidate in compliance with Georgia's open records law.
At least 14 days must now pass before there is final action on selecting the Civic Center Director.
