MITCHELL COUNTY, GA (WALB) – A south Georgia woman is hospitalized in good condition after a crash Tuesday afternoon.  Troopers say her seat belt probably saved her life.

39-year-old Sharon Thomas was headed north on Old Pelham Road a little before 3 o'clock Tuesday, when she ran off the road, overcorrected, ran into a ditch, struck an embankment and overturned.  A viewer sent us these pictures.

Emergency crews had to cut the top off the car to rescue Thomas.  Troopers say she had been drinking.

She'll be arrested for DUI and failure to maintain lane when she's released from Phoebe Putney Hospital.
