Meth suspect behind bars after days on the run

BROOKS COUNTY, GA (WALB) –A Brooks County meth suspect is now in jail after being on the run for several days.

34-year old Joseph Clayton Yarbrough paid the bond to get his girlfriend, 34-year old Jennifer McGrotha, out of jail.

She told police where to find him and they arrested him when he showed up to meet McGrotha at the Petro gas station in Quitman around nine o'clock Monday night.

A SWAT Team arrested McGrotha and 26-year old Billy Slocumb Friday night after a standoff outside Yarbrough's home on Talloaks Road.

Two meth labs were found inside the home.

All three are charged with possession and conspiracy to manufacture meth.

Yarbrough is also charged with having pills without prescriptions and with gun violations.
