ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The magical ride continues for Georgia Southern after downing Wofford 23-20 in Spartanburg on Saturday.
The Eagle nation were in full force as the players and coaches returned from South Carolina. Hundreds braved to cold to congratulate the team. The Eagles have now won 2 straight road playoff games and enjoyed seeing the welcoming party in Statesboro.
Head coach Jeff Monken "Its just a thrill for me personally and I'm glad so many people care about our team and love Georgia Southern. We got fans like no place else, this is amazing. We got the best fans in America its no doubt."
The Eagles will play at Delaware in the FCS Semifinals
