ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany business provided a holiday treat for hospice patients Thursday afternoon.

Longhorn Steakhouse employees decided instead of having their own Christmas party, they would sponsor one for hospice patients.

Home patients and in-patients at the Wilson Hospice House enjoyed food from Longhorn and entertainment.

They were also treated to gifts and a visit from Santa Claus.

"This is a nice surprise and I think I'm going to have to ask for a doggie bag because there is so much food," said Hospice patient, Pattye Tucker.

A couple dozen patients and their families attended the party.
