DASHER, GA (WALB) - Former Atlanta Brave Dale Murphy is one of many former big leaguers who were not happy with the message the steroid scandal was sending kids in America.The former Braves star is in Valdosta for a benefit for Georgia Christian School Thursday night at the VSU Conference Center.
Dale Murphy said. "There are a lot of adults in this society show them that is okay to bend the rules. Short term gain. Take shortcuts. Cheat your way to the top. I just want to tell them that it is important to do things the right way."
Dale Murphy was a seven time All-Star with the Atlanta Braves.
