VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –You can spruce up your Christmas tree with an ornament celebrating the history of Valdosta.

The City of Valdosta unveiled its 18th annual Christmas ornament.

It's gold and features city hall.

The city started its ornament series in 1993. The first one was the 'Dosta Theatre.

You can purchase this year's ornament and some from years past.

"This year is special because not only is it featuring a downtown building city hall in it's 100th anniversary, but it's also featuring the city sesquicentennial, 150 years of Valdosta," said Ellen Hill with Valdosta Main Street.
