ALBANY,  GA (WALB) –  He accidentally drove his car into an apartment complex pool!

24-year-old Montavious Jones lost control of his car at Rivercrest Apartments about 1:45 Wednesday morning.

He went through the swimming pool fence and did a nose dive straight into the water. We caught up with some shocked neighbors after the pool had been drained.

"All I know I heard a big 'boom' and I look outside and I see a lady running across the field. I think it's hilarious," said Jamie Jackson.

"Yea, I don't know if he froze or what," said Nigel Shorter.

Quality Wrecker Service came out later and removed the car with a crane. Thankfully Jones was able to swim out and walk up the pool stairs.

He wasn't injured. No charges have been filed.
