VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –A Valdosta boy was picked from more than a million entries as a finalist in a global retailer's casting call.

Gap asked parents across the country to send in photos of their children wearing their favorite jeans.

They narrowed it down, and Conner Sipus could be the next GapKid.

10-year old Conner Sipus loves fashion and he just found out he's one of the 20 finalists selected in a GapKids casting call.

"It was very exciting and for a second I just couldn't talk," said Sipus.

He wears skinny jeans and loves Lady GaGa. This photo got Conner Sipus into the running. He and his family were flown to San Francisco for a photo shoot.

He's up against four other contestants for the 2011 GapBoy. His family's been rallying support by handing flyers like this throughout the community.

He's modeled for a year at Amanda's Models here in Valdosta. He's always liked to stand out from the crowd.

"If you're going into a gap outlet or store in the boy section my picture would be every where," said Sipus.

His mom couldn't be more proud.

"He loves to do it and it's just like that's my kid and everybody look that's my kid," said his mother Jacci Reeder.

You can vote online.

"If Valdosta can vote Titletown through ESPN here we can vote connor into the casting call," said Reeder.

By voting you'll help this fashionisto make his dreams come true.

There's also something in it for you. Each vote cast will also be entered into a sweepstakes for a $1,000 gift card. Click here to get to the web site.
