CAIRO, GA (WALB) –  You won't believe what happened in Cairo about lunchtime Tuesday. A deer crashed through the front glass doors, and took off through the hospital.

Just after 12:30PM, the eight point buck slammed into the hospital's doors.

He was cut as he flew through the glass, and lost one of his racks.

He then ran down a hall, knocking over trays and carts in the process.

We're told the big buck ended up in the hospital solarium.

The director of nursing opened an outside door so the deer could get out, and he took advantage of the opening.

We hope to have the hospital security video for you later.
