ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  An Albany murder suspect was sentenced Tuesday in Lee County to 20 years in prison for several armed robberies.

Jordan Harris pleaded guilty to armed robbery, aggravated assault, and two firearms violations.

The judge sentenced him to 40 years with 20 to be served in prison.

Harris and three others robbed the Flash Foods in Leesburg in February of 2009.

He's also charged with two armed in Albany and the murder of P&P Hardware owner Walter Phelps.

Phelps was shot during a robbery at his business in July.

Harris was out on bond on the Lee County charge and on electronic monitoring when police say he shot Phelps.
