ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Burglars smash the window of an East Albany convenience store, but run away empty handed.

About 2:45 Monday  morning three young men smashed the window at the Best Buys store at 2400 Clark Avenue, across the street from Miller Brewing.

The young men were caught on surveillance video, but Police have not released it yet.

Store employees say the three had hoodies covering their heads and faces, and all had a brick in their hand as they approached the store.

Two threw their bricks, shattering the window. They believe the alarm scared the burglars, who fled immediately, empty handed.

No arrests have been made.
