ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Southern Eagles went to Williamsburg, VA and dominated William & Mary 31-15 on Saturday to advance to the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs. The Eagles held their opponents scoreless in the second half and did not allow an offensive touchdown the entire game.
Junior quarterback Jaybo Shaw tied a career-best with three touchdowns and freshman fullback Robert Brown ran for a career-best 178 yards in the victory.The Eagles will play at Wofford in the quarterfinals next weekend. Game date, either December 10 or 11, and time will be announced Sunday.
