ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Crime scene investigators were at an Albany home Friday night where a woman was found shot to death around 7 o'clock.

Police aren't saying much right now, but we do know the body is that of a 67-year-old white woman.

Officers were called to the home in the 1600 block of Orchard Drive because relatives had not heard from the woman since Monday.

Police are treating this as a death investigation and haven't said if foul play is involved. We'll have more information when it becomes available.
