ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An SUV crashed through the front of a northwest Albany boutique this morning.
The Chevy Blazer crashed into the bricks and glass windows at Envy Boutique on Old Dawson Road.
Police say 35-year-old Jacob Shaddock had a diabetic seizure, lost control of his SUV and hit the building.
Ramona Hoppes called 911. "He was unresponsive and he was jerking and was drooling at the mouth so I called 911. I kept talking to him and talking to them and they finally responded and he finally came around. I'm just glad that he was alright and that they got here in time."
The store was closed at the time. Shaddock was taken to Palmyra Medical Center for treatment.
Police say he apparently realized he was about to have a seizure and pulled off the busy road and into the parking lot.
