AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Georgia Southwestern Lady Hurricanes break open a close game in the second half to defeat West Florida 70-57 Wednesday night at the Storm Dome.
The Lady Canes had five players in double figures led by Jessica Bivins 14 points and Terra Branch scored 13.
Tania Walters had 12 and Kanita Holloway and Cierra Duhart both scored 10 points.
The Lady Canes are 4-1 and play at Valdosta on Saturday.
South Georgia Tech gets two wins at East Georgia.
Jets win a conference game 69-64 and the 9th ranked Lady Jets wins 79-58 and remain unbeaten.
