ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Four people were hurt in a weekend shooting in a Valdosta motel parking lot. Investigators think the shooting at 2:15 a.m. Sunday outside the Motel 6 on West Hill Avenue was drug related.

They think Demetrius Davis was involved in an argument when the shooting started. He was shot three times but is out of the hospital now.

Bystander Wendell Baisden was hit in the leg. Anthony Williams and Demetrius Motes were walking through the parking lot. Williams was shot. Motes suffered cuts and scraps trying to get away.

If you know anything about the shooting, you're urged to call the VPD anonymous tip line at 293-2091.
