ALBANY, GA (WALB) –A happy ending to a story we told you about last week.

When a Dougherty County man's goats disappeared, he feared they had been killed by hunters.

Well James Milledge's four pet goats are all safe and back home again.

They disappeared after his wife heard shots behind their pen.

It turns out the goats were found inside the Marine Corps Logistics Base fence and turned over to Shelby James because the base couldn't find their owner.  Until our story aired.

Milledge said  "He saw it on TV. We went over there and I came up there and blowed my horn and they came to the gate. These are my goats here."

Milledge said his family was thrilled to have their pets back.

He plans to have his name tattooed inside the goats' ears in case they get out of their pen again.
