ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police investigated a pair of violent crimes this Thanksgiving weekend. An Albany woman says someone shot at her car in broad daylight.

Police say Contease McCoy was inside her Honda Accord around 2:00 Friday when a man ran from behind a warehouse on East Broad Avenue firing a gun. She ducked as her windshield was struck and cracked by a bullet.

On Thursday police arrested Tee Williams at the Cedar Avenue apartments. He was charged with battery after cutting a woman's chin during a fight. He's being held in the Dougherty County Jail.
