ALBANY, GA (WALB) – An Albany teenager was rushed to the hospital after the van he was driving crashed into a tree.

The wreck happened at Schilling Avenue and Turner Field Road around 12:30 Thursday.

18-year-old Audrellious Countryman was driving a Chevy Astrovan. Police say ran the a stop sign at the intersection crashed into a big tree.

The teenager had to be pulled from the vehicle, he is in good condition at Phoebe Memorial Hospital.

Charges are pending against Countryman for the wreck.
