ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The hero in Deerfield-Winsdor's semifinal playoff win is the WALB Albany Area Player of the Week.
Trey Puckett said. "Yes. Pretty much all season. I just practiced every day. Stay consistent. That is what I did. Apparently it paid off."
Deerfield-Windsor hosts Tattnall Square Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Webb Stadium.

Trey Puckett received his award Tuesday from Dr. Jason Potocki.
Trey kicked a 40 yard field goal on the final play of the game to give the Knights a 30-27 win over Mount de Sales.
A game winning kick is something Puckett has dreamed about making all season.
