THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –Two Thomas County non-profit organizations came up with a creative way to raise money this holiday season.

Hands on Thomas County and Habitat for Humanity are raffling off this miniature replica of a recent Habitat home built in Thomasville.

The house was built from leftover materials and is designed to last a lifetime.

It includes insulated windows, laminate flooring, crown molding, and a 50-year metal roof.

"When you think of a playhouse, it's actually rather large. It's got 80 square feet and it's got a front and back porch," explains Casey Dysterhouse, the executive director of Hands on Thomas County. "It would be the perfect present for your children this Christmas or it could be a man cave or an artist retreat or anything like that."

Raffle Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the Thomasville Visitors Center, 144 E. Jackson St., Hands on Thomas County office at 312 N. Broad St., or TOSCOGA Market Place, 209 S. Broad St., Cash or Checks Only – Make checks payable to Hands on Thomas County.

Only 500 tickets will be sold.

All proceeds to benefit Habitat for Humanity and Hands On Thomas County.
