ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany teenager is in fair condition after another shooting at a card game.

19-year old Vorshawn Mannings was hit in the leg by a bullet about 9:20 Sunday night.

Police say the shooter knocked on the door at Nottingham North Apartment number 135 then forced the door open and starting shooting.

21-year old Quanay Carter of Tifton, 21-year old Jerry Bodiford and 20-year old Kenneth Wilder of Cairo, and 20-year old Donta Stephens of Albany were not hurt.

Last Thursday two men trying to rob a poker game in the Springfield Subdivision were shot by one of their intended victims.

Albany Police Media Manager Phyllis Banks said "At this point there is no evidence that shows that the two incidents are connected. It's just unfortunate that a card game was involved in both of the incidents that did occur."

The victims could not give police a detailed description of the shooter.

If you know anything about the shooting, call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
