ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Southwest Georgia's pecan harvest is in full swing and apparently so are the thieves.

The Mitchell County's Sheriff's office has had several calls about pecan thefts, and they need your help to find the cooks.

Investigators say a trailer full of pecans was stolen from an orchard at the Mitchell-Dougherty County line.

Investigators say the trailer may stand out because it's white,  not like the typical red or green carts.

The trailer was full of un-cleaned mixed pecans valued at $10,000.

The owner is unsure of the number on the missing trailer, but a number and A-E should be printed on one side.

Anyone with information should contact the Mitchell County Sheriff's office.
