ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany business man and dedicated community member received a big honor tonight.

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce held a black tied bar-b-que at the State Theatre.

Lamar Reese received the Chamber's first Lifetime Service award for his dedication to Albany's growth since 1957. Leonard Montgomery from WSWG-TV received the Ambassador of the Year award. Home Helpers of South Georgia won Small Business of the Year award.

The banquet also included a silent auction and local artists displayed their work.
