VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –Troopers are investigating two pileups on I-75 in Cook County Thursday morning.

The first chain reaction crash happened around 8:40 near mile marker 49.

Seven vehicles, including a tractor trailer, piled up in a construction zone in the southbound lanes.

Moments later, there was a three car pileup.

The wrecks sent several people to the hospital.
