This is the second meeting in three years between these two teams.

The Eagles lost to Peach County in the semifinals last year and almost derailed Cairo's state championship run two years ago.

Cairo coach Tom Fallaw says both teams are similar in they don't often beat themselves with mistakes.

The coach also says his team has struggled to capitalize on miscues by their opponents.

Cairo is trying to reach the AAA quarterfinals for a third straight year.

Game time is 7:30 Friday night at West Thomas Stadium.
